Solemn Assembly


Here in the rain swept hollows among the hills and the dales lay all of these ancient memories,
I cannot forgive those who have taken me away, those who have planned and thus penetrated,
Reverent moments spent on this plateau, this level of happenstance, these layers of darker seas,
Whereby I now reside in quieter moments masked, alone, and in my maker's eyes venerated,

But alas, hidden away in the truer moments of my dreams and my promises, foreign, left to lore,
Those awakened who would spend their time in darkness, their holy lair, and more, I give to thee,
These gifts of my living, the soundness of my giving, remnants found here inside my ancient door,
That I might promise to share with others the whole, struck, sound abundance of this life's radiancy.
