In dating, usually the man puts his best foot forward to impress a girl at the beginning. As days passed you grow more closer to each other, communication becomes constant until you got to the point of intimacy. I won't call it playing a waiting game nor a weird test when a woman is not messaging a guy after intimacy and just waiting for him to message her. A conventional girl is usually not used to initiating a call or text to a man especially if you are still on a dating period. Only when you are in a commitment already thus the girl feels secured and confident with no uneasiness to initiate the call. But in this case after intimacy and the guy didn't call, normally a girl would have some apprehensions that maybe after the guy got what he wanted he loses interest. If the guy value the girl and have an intention to further the relationship , he wouldn't wait for 3 days to message a girl no matter how busy he is. Letting her wait and hearing nothing from you would only give her reason to think that you are no different from all the other a**hole she met before. Is it that hard for a guy to just send a short message letting her know that you're busy, that is if you really care about her feelings then you would. A girl is is definitely not playing a waiting game, but she is waiting for a guy who will be serious and willing to stay with her after what happened and not dump her.

So we date a few times, we do the horizontal hula, he vanishes and she sent a biting text?

I am the type that needs to know if he is REALLY into me. If not, ehh. It is not about a waiting game, it is about moving on to the next shark in the sea.

Well I have a bit of a different take on this one. If he is hot and heavy with messages and had sex. Then forgot to send the Good night text or Am text.

Correction,the majority of people on here do not want to date you. (I wonder why I am not surprised). The people on here are rightly selective,it usually takes time and patience to find somebody one feels is compatible.We all have our own criteria.Even then the other person may not want to date me and that is their prerogative.It doesn't mean they don't want to date,it just means they don't want to have a date with me.No problem.I say no to people,people say no to me,it is all part of the process.

hmm.. being out of the dating world these past 35 years... technology has changed the dynamics I guess. Back in the day there were no computers/cell phones..we had to rely on a PHONECALL ..
so, once I start dating, or having sex again.. I gotta text or hope for a text back???????????????????????????????????? I guess that's progress..
