They are many scams going on F@c@book lately.. in particular, there is one with the so called "DISLIKE " button. Which is NOT what F@ckbook is referring to it as, nor have they ever.

I was contacted by a scammer on facebook....the scammer had a profile of a white woman from the USA...in her 40s supposedly owning a company which linked her offices to nigeria & later i got a call from a man in nigeria asking for my bank account details ect

I haven't been on it in years.
When they announced, that they were going 'public'. * That anyone would soon be able to read anyone* There was a mass exodus. I don't know anyone personally who is on it. They left also. Only on sites like this do I know people on it... where I am constantly asked to join them there or on Y@h@@. Haaaaa... NO.

I use facebook all the time. One of my friends whom I have known since elementary school informed us about that warning.
Facebook just like any other social media is something to be careful in. Knowing people who use it like friends and family helps to be safe. Scams unfortunately are every were staying educated and informed of them is a must . Several government sites provide information and ways to report them. |
