What will you react to. What will you be attracted to. What will get brain activity going. Cause and effect. What Dr. Fisher discusses is the effect of love, but not what it is. Lust (or sex drive), is physical, but does it come solely from physical attraction. Attraction is one of her categories, but why are people attracted to each other. And finally attachment, why do we feel attached to some people. What is falling in love, and out of love. How do we measure love. How is loving someone different from being in love with someone

You need to start with the right question.

"WE", don't "measure" love. Not if we actually want to experience and give it.

As soon as a person takes out a measuring device and starts calculating, love ceases to be what they are looking at or living in.

I don't measure ingredients when baking a cake.
So I am not qualified for love measuring.

Try a ruler. Inches or centimeters: your choice.

IMHO. love has two components. 1. the type of love. like the new testament says 3 types. every one knows these. 2. the component of volume. I.E. if you are going to drive 5 miles and put 1 gal in the fuel tank. OR if you are going to drive 5 miles and you put 500 gal in the tank. so is your love for your loved one 2 gal or 500 gal? the love Christ had for you cant be measured.

"This is the true measure of love: When we believe that we alone can love, that no one could ever have loved so before us, and that no one will ever love in the same way after us"

HOW DO WE MEASURE LOVE

The honest answer for me would be the smell of high quality high octane race fuel being pumped into your motor & then you fire it up & leave the world behind for that mere moment of intense adrenalin. There is no better feeling. bigsmile
