I think this is one of the classic "If you find yourself asking this question, than you have a problem" scenarios.

In relationships where sex does NOT matter, no one will notice or talk about the fact that it isn't happening. The only reason to ask this, is because one or more people involved, are unhappy with the status quo. Thus, asking the question indicates that the relationship is not "healthy," in the sense that it isn't fulfilling to everyone involved.

Yes i am from Bicol, and yes i am conservative. Honestly, i do not want to ask questions like this since i am not fond of talking about "sex" but it is just that i needed to know if it is really necessary in a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship.
