Topic: Mind Games | |

Mind games are done with selfish intent at whatever expense. Using one's mine to get what you need, while having a conscience and concern for anyone else involved about it, is not a mind game.

i just say, "you know what i would like?
i would like ----fill in the blank---" but i still use my brain! that's how i figure out what i like! |

I just see it as more than one thing...I can get what I need by doing for someone else and be honest about it...It's that what it's all about? Or are you really gonna try to tell me you can give without wanting? Sometimes we can but, most of the time...it's give and take. It's just who's honest about it.

I just see it as you create you own mind game, by allowing people to use what you tell them against you. Becareful what you ask for, dishonest people will lead you to believe they are helping you get what you want

Stow,
I hate to play devils advocate with you. but even when you dont expect anything in return. You get self gratification when you give, So you may not be asking for anything in return. But you may be recieving much more then you gave. |

You definitely have a point there Mikey..... once someone knows what you seek ..... they can transform into that particuliar character and do a real con on you.... but who has that kind of time to waste?

People can't play mind games with you if you refuse to play. Any new person in your life deserves to be watched and seen for who they are rather than what you wish them to be (or I agree tell them to be), or they sell themselves to be. Most RATS tell on themselves if you give them a little time and let them blow hot air for a while. The old if it quacks like a duck....
