Now seriously...When I go on a first date which has been ages and ages..

I usually will have one glass of wine if anything..Since I don't really know the person...

Now if crappy date I get my butt out of it as soon as possible knowing I keep a full bar at home and I will have a lovely strong drink at home.

On a first date, I will defintely limit the drinking, maybe one glass of wine or a beer, depending on what we're doing. One must keep one's wits about one.

Since we are friends you can be natural and get drunk like us :D.
After to much drink i fall a sleep eventually so i never had problem, or argue.

First date, I prefer to just eat and maybe a glass of wine....and an intellectually stimulating conversation no hard drinks , I wanna know the man I'm dating with a clear head if he's interesting , I definitely wouldn't want to forget our first date with too much drinks

Sour apple martini, for me. Although, I do enjoy any drink that is lit on fire and an occasional Jaeger or tequila shot. Also enjoy beer.

My BEST advice is stay stone sober if it is the first few dates.

If you want to save face "fake" a drink by getting a virgin one and nurse it along. Helps if you go on the date with a full bottle of water so you are not thirsty to start.

Also give you a graceful out if you need to hit the restroom and a fast exit. Sorry this sounds devious but this is the REAL WORLD we live in.

Why?... Amazing what you learn when someone gets loose lips with a little alcohol and you may not get another chance to learn this critical information.

NEVER get in the car with a drinking driver. You have no idea how much medication or alcohol that may already be in their system so "counting drinks" is futile.

Another pointer avoid caffine. You are already nervous and you add more on a coffee date where wait staff may pour on the coffee just to fill you up and turn the table you can get over "Chatty" and tell way more than you need to tell for those early dates.

I think it would be better to fish out information first from your date, such as her preferences in food, drinks or place she frequents, what are the things she likes to do. With these info, u would know what to do with your date and make it more interesting and enjoyable for both of you
