Remember when U.S. Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi spent 214 days rotting away in a filthy Mexican jail? The conditions were so bad, and his hope of returning home was so dismal, that he tried to take his own life on more than one occasion.

And what was President Obama do during that time? Why, what he does best! He vacationed on your dime and he played golf at the priciest and most exclusive courses in the country. He couldn’t even bring himself to pencil in one phone call to discuss Tahmooressi’s release.

Well you can bet that had Donald Trump been the one in the Oval Office, things would have shaken out much differently.

“We don’t have a good relationship with Mexico,” Trump said at a recent campaign event. “Remember Sgt. Tahmooressi?”

“They kept him in jail,” continued the 2016 Republican frontrunner. “We had a president that didn’t even want to make a phone call. He was in that jail, rotting in that jail, and I helped him with Greta and some people. And I helped him financially, and finally he got out. But he was in there so long!”

Trump offered an undisclosed amount of financial assistance to Sgt. Tahmooressi after his release so that he could jumpstart his life. The real estate mogul did so quietly, which makes his gesture all the more noble.

We’re just finding out about this now, because at the time Trump gave Tahmooressi money, he didn’t publicize it, he simply did the right thing because he genuinely appreciates everything our soldiers do. Wouldn’t it be amazing to have a Commander in Chief with that kind of respect for our military?

There are countless examples of his/ Obama's & his administrations complete disregard, disrespect, slap in the face, to ALL our armed forces... if they are even allowed to be armed... & our police departments.

He has chosen his own pleasure & entertainment, vacations & a wantabe Hollywood/ Famous lifestyle & and media / policital agenda, his own delusions of being Emperor for life
over them, this country, our laws & Presidential protocol.

This was before he decided to run for President. Mr. Trump has been doing things like this for years, he just doesn't run to the public for brownie points every time he does.

Yes, one phone call from someone with a backbone in the White House and he would have been released. We watched what happened with Iran when they realized they were about to be dealing with Ronnie. They threw the white flag up faster then you could say Allah Akbar!

No assumption. Over 8 months in a Mexican prison for a misunderstanding. Obama could deliver a hurtful blow to Mexico by just signing a piece of paper and we all know how much he loves doing that.

He could shut down the border and issue temporary trade restrictions and pull all military support out of the country that is there helping keep the government stable under all the corruption from the drug lords.

Mexico would have released him within days, if not hours.

Oh he could have if he sent a REAL negotiator in instead of John Ferry and he himself had a sack. This is going to be a bigger screw up then Carter's putting the extremists in power there.

I watched a really interesting interview on the Iranian hostage crisis with a guy names Tony Mendez. Not many people have heard of him, which is a shame. According to President's Carter, George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush this is one of the most decorated operatives in the history of the CIA.

He was the exfiltration expert on Iran who got the 6 American's hidden in the Canadian embassy out of the country right through the Airport guarded by the Revolutionary Guards.

The things he mentioned are shocking. The plans the Carter options gave him were all bad ones and he came up with one on his own and got them out was awarded a Intelligence Star and had it taken away because it was classified and only got it back 20 years later.

He stated the Marine Guards were under strict orders not to fire on any protester or they will all be killed because the US Military isn't coming to evacuate them (and we had the military and the equipment there to do that before all hell broke loose. Hell, they were even told to stand down with tear gas.

This is a man who was there, who lived it. He got the majority of the Shah's people out and he got our people out.

Carter was a disaster.
