Is reading someone's profile
A wink's as good as a nudge to a blind mule...
equivalent to a nudge |

Eh. I read a gals profile simply because I make a bet with myself that it'll simply say "Hi", or "Tell you later", or "I hate filling these things out, so I will just write I am not into games, I want something real, and I am not a crazy stalker chick". Thing is...I win the bet every time.

Hi mingle2 mates. I like reading community threads and the main reason I am still here. Sometimes after reading a thread I get so curious that I read the writer's profile. Surprisingly this occassionally attracts some writers to e-mail me. Some are younger than my youngest child. One wrote ''I am sorry with me you have to prove who you are first...''. Is looking at a profile suggestive? No, not at all. I also sometimes look at a forums' poster's profile simply because I'm curious. Whoever send you that email, must have mistaken you for someone who cares... I wanted to say "is a jacka$$" but that is not very nice, so I didn't. |

I don't get the nudges...why??
Are they too shy to speak? Do they want a nudge back? Whaaa??? And I do hesitate to look at someones profile because it might seem suggestive. |

I check out plenty of profiles, and some I do read..ha ha...but hey! thats the name of the game. I drop a simple note if I like what I see and read. And I expect the same from viewers....so far that is not working out well for me. I have over 100 matches but not one knows how to read and write....leave alone flirt online...ooops! did I just say that..

Reading someone's profile several times is demonstrating some level of interest I think, but we are all adults here. If someone is interested , they need to be a big boy or a big girl about it and send a message I used to, but too much of a waste of time now. Now i just read profiles because i'm nosey, or bored, or both I hear ya giantowl. Based upon the reoccurring complaints we hear in the threads, alot of people are focusing now on the entertainment value and social merits of the chatroom , as opposed to the romantic part. At least we're developing some lovely friendships out of it whisper it quietly, but it doesn't help that probably 75% of the profiles are fake, and another 24% are too shallow, or ignorant to talk then yeah you could have a point |

I started only talking to people from the forum a couple of months ago because I feel more safe that way Based upon the reoccurring complaints we hear in the threads, alot of people are focusing now on the entertainment value and social merits of the chatroom , as opposed to the romantic part.
