I've talked to a lot of women on these dating sites. Most all tell me the same thing. I don't talk like I write. They say that when I write I "sound" very educated. Or that maybe I've been in the service. But when they finally hear my southern sound, (Georgia) They can't believe what they are hearing. For some reason, with my thick Georgia accent I sound less educated in person than I do when I write. I haven't quite figured that one out yet. In one sense of the word, it sounds like a put-down. If you are from Georgia, you must be an uneducated dummy. Welcome to Mingle.

i havent talked to that many ladys yet today is the first time ive been on here in 3 years thought it was time to try again got tired of waiting for a woman to come to me You should say, Come to me wench... That gets em every time..

Personally I can't stand to listen to a loud mouthed male Yankee, but I like the way the Yankee female sounds.. It's Looney Toons out there.. IDK??

hhahaha..it's that whole opposites attract thing maybe I for instance, am an articulate, fast talking woman who enunciates all my consonants and always speaks my mind.. only time you might hear 'God bless' come out of my mouth is if someone sneezes now you gimme a slow talking, sweet talking man who says things like 'darling, sweet heart, ya'll and gimme some sugar" I'm in trouble

Me too between the OP's thread title and TMommy's post I have both taking turns As far as drawls go.. mine is so bad I have people ask me all the time where did it come from. since it is a mixture of old New Orln's with west coast cadence thrown into the mixture...
