OK you finally got them on that first date. You've been waiting for this for months, days, seconds (blind date). What are your must ask questions?
What do you like to do for fun? How much HAVE you got hidden away in offshore accounts? Are you allowed to leave the state? Any restraining orders I should know about? What nice, but probing, questions are in your first date arsenal? |

Do you like to travel? Any reason you couldn't leave the state? 2. You seem in good shape and very centered, is this typical in your family? 3. What is your exs name and profession? |

I would not go on a blind date. Can't it be a normal date with a random person?

I would not go on a blind date. Can't it be a normal date with a random person? But would you go on a random date with a normal person? Yes, after my divorce is finalized. What is normal? |

Hopefully by the time of the first date/meet many of those questions would be answered.. Therefore a first meet should be something where you can talk or doing something that both like. And just be comfortable... No one wants a 100 question quiz.. Just relax and enjoy...

Possibly 1. What kind of activities do you enjoy? (looking for common interests) 2. Do you have or like pets? (possible future cat lady or attachment issues) 3. Do you enjoy your work? (possible stability issues) Hey, I'm 50 in that picture, sorry I spilled coffee on my watch and it's called a classic lady. What, yeah...ok...nice to meet you too..... |

And just be comfortable... No one wants a 100 question quiz.. Just relax and enjoy... You think like I do - however I am more inclined to ask so many questions from my email chat ups. I think the conversation doesn't lead to success in meeting up. It just ENDS I don't why. Once I told him he is rude for NOT replying after I revealed personal stuff, like the name of a city where I have a house for sale. Then on to the next five chat ups another in State guy asks about my family. I tell EM truthfully they are the love of my life? No reply after that. MEETING MY SOUL MATE HERE AND GETTING TO DATE HAS AS MUCH CHANCE AS WINNING THE LOTTERY. |

What are your must ask questions?
I have no must ask questions. Personally, I would prefer no personal questions were asked in the first few dates or months. Just sharing what you feel like sharing, general conversations, and communicating decisions. I'd rather date someone that was just open and honest about what they were experiencing and feeling as we did whatever and get a picture of them that way. What someone chooses to say says more about them than what is dug out of them without any real context to the information dug out. I would rather date someone that wasn't mentally lazy and need the teacher to hand them the answer right then. To me a lot of questions in the beginning is like watching a movie or reading a book with someone and every five minutes they are interrupting with things like "who's that? What are they doing? Is that the bad guy? What's going to happen? They shouldn't go in there. Are they going to go in there? Is this a true story? Who wrote the book? What's that guys name? Is he the main guy? Why does that guy not like that guy? Why did they just do that? Does that guy like that girl? Why is his hair like that?" What nice, but probing, questions are in your first date arsenal?
I find a lot of women don't appreciate a severe attempt at in depth probing on a first date. Especially if it is a "blind date," as mentioned in the beginning. How much HAVE you got hidden away in offshore accounts?
Are you allowed to leave the state? Any restraining orders I should know about? I would wonder why this is what was on your mind. Do you want to know these things above all else because you want to find someone just like you? Do you want to know these things because you want to judge me as someone "bad?" Are you asking these things trying to be funny because you plan on trying to keep me at a distance with humor and you really just don't want to be yourself? Or are you asking these because they entertain you, you think they're funny, and are therefore using me to entertain you? What do you like to do for fun?
Hopefully, we'd be doing it. Why would I go on a date to do something I didn't find fun? |

"Or are you asking these because they entertain you, you think they're funny, and are therefore using me to entertain you? " Well, it was meant to be serious but your answers were very funny and I went with it. I am interested in how people get a feel for one another. |
