Beyond All Common Trend ( Let It Be Me ) Beyond all common trend ( let it be me, ) the deep heartfelt friend of those who would toil fruitless in the darker valleys of their souls, For it is there where darkness exists as their only repair, there where night indeterminant, in fog ladened shadows - casts out it's lasting bell's tolls, Far golden sun hidden in a moonlit garden on the other side of night, survivor, freer of all back there and lost, we of sundome and the broader sense of light - await thee, We come in the holy shadows of our deep innumerous shallows, to be with you, the seer, In the raw majesty of bodies existing around ye - and an earthly world with it's unending sea. I speak for all of those in the pain of their darkness, and for those speaking aloud to ye, - beyond all common trend, in your valley places and your cool glens, let it be me. Goodness Thom, that is a deep beauty. I am in awe, struck by the light and blinded....

Ladywind, 2kids,
I thank you both so much for your calm in the midst of the storm of my words. As I begin writing normally, or in this case typing, I gain an overall notion of where I wish to go based on a basic formed, constructed sentence line. This 'catchy phraseology' thing just kills me. I have so much fun with it all. I gain a hint and then the consequent follow up of word play ensues. Back and forth I go reading and then re-reading - contemplative of my next unique line. This is a simple trick used by all poetics enthusiasts, and so, I feel at home - at work at my desk here. My having fun with the courser threads of this pulp-meal thing does however have nothing in the world to do with the appreciation I feel upon reading comments such as yours. I Am so very thankful to read others thoughts on my work. Thank you both, tommy boy moran / Ireland |
