![]() === Shakes and Thrills Shakes and thrills, some awful spills, the kite fell in the rain - again, Lost, left out on a windy beach, sun far beyond the horizon's place, I feel like the stone faced assailant in a disastrous play, cold, insane, In the grip of some mighty slip tide - cast out in the foam, out into space, And so, what is this? Some kinda clown act? Something I was born into - shorn? The character never really get's it does he, or she as this life's story may be? We all live our lives as if on a dark beach somewhere, limited, lonely, scorned, But I tell you this, as we stand there feet dug in the sand - we and the sea are free. ''We all live our lives as if on a dark beach somewhere, limited, lonely'' Until an appointed time which could quite sell be over a thousand years of patience, persistence, witness |
