Drew, I agree...there's a huge difference between a wedding and a marriage. You hope they both go smoothly, but it takes work to get them both right.

I totally understand the difference between a marriage and a wedding......been there, done that.....

My inquiry to you gentlemen was about:

have had this experience not only during the marriage
ceremony. many times.

music is very important to us. we had classical music
during the ceremony many friends who played. harp at the
beginning of the reception and jazz and blues band for
dancing. neither of us played though. our video guy was
very good. taped the segments from before the ceremony
all the way through the reception. had about an hour of
footage. we were going to pay him to edit it down but he
told us after watching it that he wouldn't bother that it
was one of the best straight shoots he ever did. so we got
it and watched it and many of those who have subsequently
watched it said it was truly one of the best of this type
they had ever seen....but the music helped. it was also a
very picturesque venue...

also - instead of toasts - we asked our friends to roast
us instead. THAT was fun. and definitely the highlight of
the proceedings. so I'd recommend it if you dare!!

The feelings in this song are about making the wedding day a special day for your bride. I always believed that every woman dreams of the special day when she would be the bride, and spends little bits of time throughout her young adult life fantasizing(sp) about the perfect day.
My role in the wedding is to make sure that all the hopes and dreams of my soon to be wife, are realized to the best of my ability.
