my roots come from the country
and yet I live in a city.. there are times in my life when I get stressed or forget why it is I do the things I do why it is I am where I am in my own life.. that I feel the need to get in car and go...out of town to where the backroads are where the trees grow tall and I can sit and watch the wind in the leaves listen to the quiet walk in solitude for awhile remember who it is I am where I came from where it is I still need to go |
