I think everyday how great it was when we was growing up, going to grandparents house on Sunday's riding in the big back window acting like a booble head, everyone at supper table at one time together, building treehouses and keeping the girls out till later in life lol, having to count the rings on the phone before you answered cause you was on a part line, just always outside enjoying creating games to play, then in school getting those paddles wore out on us then go home and get another, but we learned a lesson, shoot don't think bout talking back you'd be eating a few fingers and knuckles, these kids these days think they have the best of everything, but I know better cause we sure had fun, hanging out at sonic the Pizza Hut or just cruzing with friends, never be good times like that and the last thing we just had 3 channels on tv to watch and it went off air at midnight and those was real good shows about life now it's nothing on but who knows what they are trying to get across lol. Just wanted to see how many other people look back and really say life was better then. Thanks for reading.

I think life gets better every day. I never wax nostalgic at the past. Just like I don't think weekends are better than weekdays because of work. Every day is special, just like every time period is special. Otherwise, you're just killing time, wishing your life away or living in the past. That is no way to live.

I appreciate today's technological advances. I love cell phones, laptops, computers, flat screen T.V.'s, tons of movie channel selections on cable T.V., tons of YouTube music selections, tons of reading material and book selections on Kindle, infinite Internet searches and virtual library and knowledge at your fingertips with search engines like Google, and even online dating sites where we have made so many awesome friends across the globe and some even met their true love. This would not have been a possibility when I was growing up. I know that you like the idea of life being simpler back then but I like my life the way it is now. Enriched and more knowledgeable with the ease of the internet and technology.

Unfortunately, people with dementia will always live in the past. They can't help it. They can't be expected to keep up with us. It's fun thinking back to the nostalgic years. I just didn't see how rotten and manipulating the world would become. I have no motivation for modern life. It just disgusts me.

-ahhh reminiscing the past..:)

-"PEOPLE 40'S AND UP" are the digital immigrants...
- Unlike other ages.. we are the only unique ones who enjoyed our youth without the modern day things that took us away from one another hahaha.. we were able to intermingle more with everyone..

-BUT in our ADULT YEARS WE ARE ABLE TO ENJOY TECHNOLOGY UNPARALLELED:)

- the people who were not able to experience the wonders of technology somehow miss a new different world..

- THOSE WHO ARE BORN DURING THE RISE OF TECHNOLOGIES MISS MORE THAN A LOT..Technology IS ASTOUNDING IN THE FIELD OF SCIENCE, MEDICINE AND ENGINEERING. In communications, it is a great way to stay entertained but it TOO, is disconnecting people. Today’s Internet users have many ways to be occupied online.

SO WHY WON'T WE ALL AGREE TO NOT BE SUCKED INTO THE INTERNET TOTALLY:)
LET US NOT ALLOW KEYPADS AND KEYBOARDS, BE THE KEY TO OUR HEARTS HAHA
