Man why dont they have mormonism (LDS) on the religion list?
Why would they? They would fall into Christian per the site. Do you know how many specific forums the site would have to make for each branch of a religion?

Man why dont they have mormonism (LDS) on the religion list? Because the managers of this site don't want to start an argument about which churches are Christian and which aren't. Just select "Other" as your religion. |

Why would they? They would fall into Christian per the site. Do you know how many specific forums the site would have to make for each branch of a religion? There are twelve classical major world religions. These are the religions described most often in surveys of the subject, and studied in World Religion classes (some of them more for historical rather than contemporary reasons): Major Denominational Families of Christianity (Branches); 1): Catholic 2): Orthodox/Eastern Christian 3): African indigenous sects (AICs) 4): Pentecostal 5): Reformed/Presbyterian/Congregational/United 6): Anglican 7): Baptist 8): Methodist 9): Lutheran 10): Jehovah's Witnesses 11): Adventist 12): Latter Day Saints 13): Apostolic/New Apostolic 14): Stone-Campbell ("Restoration Movement") 15): New Thought (Unity, Christian Science, etc.) 16): Brethren (incl. Plymouth) 17): Mennonite 18): Friends (Quakers) Major Branches of Islam 1): Sunni 2): Shiite 3): Ahmadiyya 4): Druze Judaism Branches 1): Conservative 2): Unaffiliated and Secular 3): Reform 4): Orthodox 5): Reconstructionist |

Mormons are also known as 'The Church Of Latter Day Saints. '
They could be classed as 'Christian/Other.' |

Because the managers of this site don't want to start an argument about which churches are Christian and which aren't. This comment actually has merit. |

As some have stated at times it is hard to have Forums for each Religion Branch therefore you would need to use the Christian Forums for questions and answers.
With that said this thread is being locked. Site Mod Kristi |
