Why does this site have so many scammers?

I have no idea why there are so many scammers and imposters. It makes it real hard to find someone to connect with.

Coz it's free,they don't have to pay a dime for scamming people out of their hard earned cash.....!!!!!

The thing is, why do mingle 2 do nothing about it. I'm fed up reporting scammers and 2 days later they're still online using the same profile!

They do. But when it's one persons word against another or off site....what do you expect? They investigate everything
