*1 (1,4,9 diagonally doesn't fit to me)* If you use 1 on the second puzzle you can color the 1s & 3s red, the 2s & 6s blue and the 4 white and you get a pretty pattern. Oh so pretty. The answers weren't mentioned in 'that' particular website that I explored. I 'felt' it to be 9. However, reading your post, it seems to me, that you 'might' 'probably' be correct in your presumption. Thank you for 'sharing'.
