At what point in a relationship do you feel intimacy between two people becomes appropriate?
I don't know if I understand the question. Are you asking "when is sex appropriate in the relationship?" Then I'd answer "when you both feel like having sex, and you're both willing to accept any and all consequences that may arise from doing so." Otherwise you are asking "when is it appropriate to feel familiarity or closeness." Then I'd say it's appropriate anytime. But you need to be aware of how they respond to it. With that, maybe you are asking "when in the relationship are you guaranteed to know how they are going to react to any advances or treating them with familiarity, when there is no risk to you choosing to behave a certain way?" Then, it's never. You're never guaranteed anything. Totally Agree On This Note...When you speak of guarantee, you mean to say security, There is no Guarantee for Intimacy; that's a fact unless both parties tie the knots and even then, even marriage is still not a guarantee for that unless you both don't lose that spark for each other.... |
