What is your best Halloween memory?

I took my kids to the Calgary Zoo after dark and they have an annual halloween there where the whole place is lit up at night.

It's totally done up and it was the best halloween outing I have ever had. Awesome. Check it out if you are there, I think there were just as many adults having fun as were kids. It was a hoot!

The last year when our area had trick or treat until midnight. The next year it would only go until 8pm. My cousin's and I went out and started grabbing the bowls of candy sitting on the steps. Then heading back to the car. It was the biggest haul we ever had. It was around 140 lbs of candy and $68 in change and singles.

OMG!!!! are you serious???

Every year we would hit this one neighborhood that would throw quarters and dollars in the bowl. But it was always on the bottom. I guess they trusted the kids to take one as the sign said. But yeah lol

that's stealing little kids money, that is not fun! lol

oh, i guess you were younger then, good memory, I have that one where I had an egg thrown at my head, but to embarrassing to reveal.

my grass is just starting to grow back so the Halloweeners best stay off my lawn this year!


ok so i don't have any good memories of Halloween

Hehe! I like to laugh about my friend who lives on the "street that the whole town trick or treats" She barricades her front lawn and walkway, and puts up signs that indicate she is giving out candy across the street!

i'm thinking of setting up a sound system that plays the sound of spiratic gunfire and loud booms.

my best halloween memory is quite recent actually, we didnt celebrate halloween as kids because of religious reasons. so the year i married jeff and he found out i didnt have much in the way of halloweens we did the whole costume thing and went trick or treating and went to a haunted house. it was a fun time and he was willing to do some silly kid stuff with me just cus i never had the chance.

you could also get a van and paint it to look like a S.W.A.T van and with the red lasers,make it look like your house is being raided

Wow- I have alot from when the kids were young...

One of my favorites was Marvin and I would go all out for
the kids. We even did a homemade message on our phone
answering machine one year. I was Elvira and He was Egore.

The principle of the kid's school called our home one evening
while we were out to see if I would come help for the school halloween party.

Needless to say when it came time for her to leave a message,
she was laughing hysterically. When she caught her breath-
she had to call back a second time to leave a message.

Her second message in between laughs was:
That is absoulutley great! I was calling to see if you would
help with the schools halloween party. Somehow I get this
feeling the answer will be yes.

Hey Cool Idea! I'll have to wait for an idea to come to me on what I could do for a new message!! you don't mind do you?
