As the TRUTH of the Bible hurts as we might think.

Do you think there has to be compromises in preaching the gospel from time to time in order to bring about resolution?

Is it our job then to change Bible to fit the world?been done a time or two thru ages
perhaps take out all scriptures make anyone the least bit uncomfortable or the ones not easily explained so as to open doors of church to more new comers and fill the pews on sunday morning?

I see two takes on the question

do we try to change what the bible says (NO)

do we change the MANNER in which we teach what the bible says (YES)


I believe there is one way to instruct,,any topic,,,,and sometimes instructional style needs to be updated to truly teach

its why we have,, lets say, bible school for KIDS(where we teach the bible in one manner) and that for adults

there are different cultures and environments where teaching style needs to account for HOW the audience best learns something


,,but as far as modifying and changing what the bible says so as not to hurt feelings,,, for me, thats a RESOUNDING NO

No, there is no need for any "compromising" when it comes to sharing, living, or anything other about the scripture/God's instructions. If they want the compromise, then they will make the resolution in the subject :)

We compromise to God, not vise versa :)
