Topic: At Dawn | |

At dawn, with mist in the air,
There's a child born, beautiful and fair, It's warmed by, the sun's heat, It's chilled by, the dewy sheet, The mother lies, in the grass, The long hard burden, lifted at last, The love that twinkles, in the eyes, Across the sky, an eagle flies, It takes a breath, of newfound life, Takes it's first steps, to survive, Then the day, begins to glow, For the fawn, and the doe. |
