Dating? When I read the title of this thread, I thought it was about a sporting event.

Green flag: drives nice car.
Red flag: its stolen

Green flag: really nice hair
Red flag: it is a rug

Green flag: movie star teeth
Red flag: that he sets in glass to soak at night

Red flag - mentions his mother.
*Oh hell no... No mama's boys*

Green Flag- my children are all on their own.
* Care taking is over , financial freedom & possible successful parenting *

Green flag: says he has live in help
Red flag: turns out to be his wife

Red Flag- talks about his ex.
* Bitter or obsessed or still attached*

Green Flag- He can read

Red Flag - Asks if you have a sister or a girlfriend for his friend
* tag team bromance *

Green Flag- He can name 3 scientist that are still alive

Green flag: says he has created masterpieces of architecture with his own mind and two hands
Red flag: turns out he meant with Legos

Red Flag - Rude to the waiter or waitress. * next he may ask for ketsup *

Green Flag - He knows a place setting
& which fork to use

Green flag; Family man

Red Flag ; didn't pay child-support for most of those years and his kids have all been locked up at least once.

Sorry I don't date women but if I was a guy these would give me pause; especially for a non custodial Mom

Interesting question, I'��ll bite. I'll start with red flags so I end on a positive note. Generally speaking some of my red flags are related to ethics of character, the things I mentioned in my profile. Lack of honesty is the number one red flag for me. It'��s one of the easiest to spot. By use of the Socratic Method I can ask a question I already know the answer to followed by other questions which lead to truth or revelation of information. This will expose and make clear a person's level of dishonesty and deceit, sometimes without them even knowing how much they showed their true colours. On a positive note green flags for me are things that are opposite to red flag items. Such as, a person's willingness to share information without me having to ask about it. A major green flag item for me is when someone shows use of the golden rule. E.g. If you want me to make a big sacrifice for you, how about considering first making a major sacrifice for me. (do unto others as you want done to you).

Red Flag - Thinks Spanish is an official 2nd language in the USA
* ask him how many states there are, laugh... & run *

Green Flag - Says ' You are a republic aren't you? '

I like your green flag - " willingness to share information without you having to ask "

If people ask a lot of questions & don't offer information voluntarily... RUN
