Here is a poem I wrote about child abuse and that there is no reason for it...

No Excuse for Abuse

Many of times, children do not share,
The abuse they get, from parents that care.
Every time mommy or daddy, took their hand,
It became harder for you to understand.
They love they said they have for you,
Doesn't make sense, with what they do.

A spousal fight, in a fit of rage,
A slap in the face, turns another page.
You fall down, you obtain a bruise,
This is a life, you did not choose.
In this life, you didn't ask to be born,
You wake up crying, in the early morn.

Parents please, there's just no excuse,
This senseless crime, called abuse.
Children are not, pawns to be,
Beaten or abused, sexually.
They're supposed to be, our future leaders,
Not rapists, thieves, or wife beaters.

When you feel compelled to draw back and strike,
Look at the face, of that innocent tyke.
A time for discipline, not a time for abuse,
This senseless crime, there's just no excuse.
So many have died, from this senseless act,
From horrible blows, of the strong impact.

I will end this by saying, take the time,
Love your kids, don't do the crime.
Let them grow up, and to know true love,
Kisses and hugs, and not a shove.
And certainly not the back of your hand,
But a kind word, and to understand.

That is so true, my friend
I teach school and I see wounded kids walk into my room all the time
SRS is so overloaded with cases that sometimes they get lost in the shuffle. If you don't mind I am going to publish this in our Middle school newsletter.

I have two beautiful children ages 21 and 26 and never laid a hand on them because my mom used to beat the **** outta us.

I want to firmly believe what goes around comes around.

Sick that the inocence of a child is defiled like this alot.
Children are lifes most presiouse gift.
They can not pick who will be their parent's.
It's too bad that those kind of people can even have them...
