I just found this absolutely hysterical.
I LOATHE this nothing chatter ALL DAY LONG!
And Don't call me sixteen million times or text me all day long to ask me what kind peanut butter to buy or tell me what ya ate for lunch or that the guy in front of you is taking too long to make a left turn
What else are the forums? Nothing chatter (personal responses in the forums), people constantly posting meaningless questions with many being the same question over and over 16 million times (any good ones? is it all about looks? scammer?), talk about trivial daily things (diy help, recipes), and/or to complain about someone (all men suck online crazy, all women suck online crazy, nothing but scammers). Is it just about the control? On the forums you can control when you participate in nothing chatter and control when you can contact people sixteen million times to respond about what's you're favorite food or why men/women suck, or making sammiches, or how one poster is mean or hot or worth remembering. But if someone else has that control? Well then it's time to LOATHE the behavior. I found that funny. |

On the forums you can control when you participate in nothing chatter and control when you can contact people sixteen million times to respond about what's you're favorite food or why men/women suck, or making sammiches, or how one poster is mean or hot or worth remembering. But if someone else has that control? Well then it's time to LOATHE the behavior. I found that funny. I reckon my distinction here is that I'm not in a relationship (so far  ) with the people I'm bantering with, nor am in public AND unable to make a simple decision on my own.
If we know each other well enough to cohabitate, then you know I dig Swedish Fish - so just get the Swedish Fish! I don't need to discuss this or get a turn by turn narrative of your drive home. I liken forums to a beer joint where everybody is strutting their stuff, peacocking for a mate so, yeah, most of the discussions are mundane AND aggravatingly redundant! But, thanks in no small part to your in depth analyses of all the idle chatter on forums, I do see the irony!

But as cynical as you seem to find it - why do you keep dropping in - someone forcing you to  I'd be finding a new friend - one not bent on torturing you in such a horrid way

You know, it just dawned on me, wheat gets a bum deal. The chaff is separated and excused to leave. Wheat, however, is ground up, drowned, thrown in an oven, falls prey to the gnashing of teeth, shoved through an alimentary canal, and is reduced to nothing but a pile of...oh yeah, the censors...can we say doo doo?

Actions speak louder than words, but words used to great effect can inspire action. Just my two cents because I want to be someone's husband someday. But it's a two way street and she's gotta be able to bring it as well, her good qualities. I hope she's kind to kids and animals. |
