Al Sharpton's Daughter Exposed for Potential Fraud

Like father like daughter.

While Al Sharpton has been in the news over the past few months for the multiple outstanding tax burdens he owes in the state of New York, his daughter is making headlines for other conspicuous (and unethical) reasons.

Dominique Sharpton recently sued the city of New York for $5 million dollars.

All because while crossing a busy New York street and stepping in a giant crack she said she sprained her ankle to such a degree it will now cause her permanent, life changing injury.

According to the suite she filed on April 29th, "She still sufferers and will continue to suffer for some time physical pain and bodily injuries."

Reports indicated within just a few weeks of sustaining the injury she was already back on the streets in high heels.

What is the point. Many people of all colors and economic classes sue all of the time. One thing that I know living in Florida, is that the lawyer business is really huge. I don't know exactly how much damage Dominique has suffered, she may have a legitimate complaint. That is what juries are for. Even though I am for tort reform, I am not going to let my prejudices judge someone unfairly.

To further complicate her claims of life-altering injury were the recent photos she posted to her Instagram account while celebrating her birthday in the tropical paradise of Bali.

Her claims have essentially been nullified after she posted a picture of her and a friend summiting a mountain in Bali.

On her Instagram post she wrote.

"We hiked UP the mountain, over the clouds - into the SUNRISE," Dominique, 28, wrote in the May 16 post.

She ( and anyone else who does this is a fraud). She is high lighted because supposingly she ( and her father ) stand for " the truth.. righteousness, justice and honesty".

But her she is trying to extort $4.5 million from the city for a sprained ankle. But it also appears this " devastating life changing" injury has not stopped her from living a normal life. To include, work, wearing high heels while climbing a ladder, or vacationing in exotic places.

What a role model to the " ace bandage " population!!... able to forge ahead under the toughest of physical and mental duress. My God!!... what a great example for her cause... makes me proud

And I am sure Pops is proud too...doesn't he owe about that much in back taxes?

Doesn't seem to be ANY suffering.
My God, she climbed a ladder in high heels to decorate a Christmas tree.

Sure may may of have pain...& wore a med boot for a few weeks... but not around Christmas or later.
Looks like her life improved... for the better, not for worst.

Funny how the "pro Sharpton" folks are quiet on these type talks. I guess just a " tad bit" hard to justify

I was shocked reading her Twitter posts, because not only did she not mention much discomfort (only that she HAD a sprain, awhile ago) but she described her vacation & the scenery as if it were a sprirtual experience.

Which would be great IF she didn't have a law suit pending...
She can NOT be one of he brightest crayolas in the box, to put her lavish, spoiled lifestyle out there & expect to win the case.

your right. I think that whole family thinks that they are "Teflon" and that everyone else is stupid.

The city has a good fraud investigation department.. very good one. As does the underwriters of their insurance policies. They are not just going to hand out money. They will do a full investigation to her claims. It will be interesting to see what unfolds. Very interesting.

Sad thing is...idiots like this make ot more difficult for the legitimate complaints

I have a friend who was a rail worker on Amtrak for 15 years. He was electrocuted one day at work. He almost died!! and was never the same, many medical issues.. many. One arm is pretty much useless. certainly could not work anymore.

Now that was a life changing situation. He got $2.5 million. God only knows how much of that went to rehab and other medical type costs.

And she is asking for $4.5 million for a sprained ankle.

That is a slap in the face to everyone.

Yes, I considered that- " two separate entities ", because I don't carry the sins of my relatives & my children won't carry mine.
But when you ride on the coat tails of the famous or infamous everyone is a reflection or everyone else.

IF this woman had any sense of self respect she would of disassociated from her father's dealings, made her own money ,stayed out of the limelight & TRIED to have a normal life. But she didn't. If she acts like daddy, she will be despised like daddy. And she can ONLY blame herself.
