Received this image from a buddy of mine: she's working her 2nd summer job at Denali National Park - she goes off on nature hikes all by herself -


I've asked her to 'PLEASE' carry bear spray along with her and to 'NOT KEEP HER HEADSET ON' while hiking along those lonely back trails --- so now between the Moose - the Bears - it's those huge mosquito's that will nab & grab you when you least expect it! Today's brilliant suggestion is: load up with as many small {fist sized rocks} that she can pack into a back pack/fanny pack - chuck them at the bears/moose and that extra weight might keep her from being swooped up and carried off to parts 'UNKNOWN'
