Topic: When someone just don't respond back anymore. | |
---|---|
I have had women contact me and we have chatted for a while and things were great but then I get no more response from them.this happened already a few times. I just find it rude to just stop talking to someone especially if that person wanted to chat with you in the first place. I'm not a boring person and didn't say anything that would have offended them at all. I don't get it.

Everyone has there own reason. If they are not interested then move on. Good luck!

Many are fickle and bad mannered online. You will get used to it.And keep in mind,it only takes that one woman who will keep talking to you to make it all worth while.
Hang in there, and good luck |

NO RESPONSE IS A RESPONSE No need, for a " Dear John " letter or a list of reasons why. Just move on to the next. Inbox/ email is NOT a committed relationship. No one owes anyone anything. Women get MANY messages & anytime a woman messages a man, for ANY reason, she runs the risk of the man thinking she is interested. Same thing with viewing profiles. |

Sorry Sassy, I disagree. I consider this type of behaviour to be extremely bad manners. Instead of text, imagine being on a train or plane with someone. You are enjoying a splendid conversation and then the person just stops talking, refuses to say why, and even refuses to acknowledge that you are even exist? I think you would find that to be annoying.
If you engage someone here in a running conversation and then decide to stop, have the courtesy to just say so. Just clamming up or giving someone the 'silent treatment' in my books is ignorant behaviour. |

I'm not suggesting that women owe me anything SassyEuro2 I'm just saying that if you want to meet someone at least give them the opportunity to chat more than just a few lines and then let them go. How are you going to be friends and get to know someone first if you do that sort of thing? I'm not ready to pounce on the first woman that shows interest in me the first time she messages me. i agree with you about the no response is a response and will just keep moving on to someone that will not do that sort of thing to a great person.

Move on!
Stop caring about silly things. Be patient! The right one will come along. Be yourself! The right one will love you for being you. I don't care if someone stop talking to me. It's his loss, not mine. Good luck in your search! |

It can be hard to tell with a complete stranger what will offend them. There could be a variety of reasons that have nothing to do with us. Ours is not to know or understand but to keep looking for that one person we really connect with. |

think of this place or any dating site as speed dating
you got about thirty seconds to make a good impression |

There are some basic courtesies that get ignored in this medium and for a variety of reasons. Some of those make sense to me and some don't. Truthfully though, if I'm going to discover bad manners or an abrasive nature, I'd rather it be sooner, than later. Count your blessings.

I have been on the net a long long time....it just doesn;t work that way here and you will never be a happy netter if u can't let go of that control thing I TT get how you feel but comparisons to IRL ....u just beat urself up with them |

I'm so tired of people trying to make their own internet dating rules. I respond when I want. I ignore when I want. My life, my choices. If you can't handle rejection, you should stop looking so hard for a mate. Maybe you'll have more luck?.... |

Women being 'too polite' in the real world can be a dangerous thing.
Being ' too polite ' in cyper, can be a nasty or annoying thing. If a man says NO to another man,it is for the most part, excepted. * Okay Cool* But if a woman says NO to a man, too many men see that as an NEGOTIATION. * Why? don't you like...blah blah blah? * And they not only want an explanation, they will try to convince you that your thinking or rationale is flawed & therefore something is wrong with you for NOT wanting them. NO is NO, NO is NOT an NEGOTIATION.. Only about 25% of the time, do I say, " I'm sorry, we are not compatible" Because in my years, of this, only 25% can deal with that. * Reminds me of the book- "HE is just NOT that into you " ... same with women * |

The old disappearing trick. It would be nice to get an explanation as to why the other person just disappeared but that's not how it works. Sorry she did that but nothing can be done except move on.

rule
1. if you get a message from someone and you look at pics and read profile and you are not interested?IGNORE 2. if this person upon noticing you looked at their profile sends you a message? respond with yes I did look at it and read it and no thank you: NOT INTERESTED 3.if they want to know why you can give them a brief synapses if you so choose 4. if they persist you may then tell them to take a flying leap |
