Many a times in commutation in day to day
When I cross your vast hot dry expanse, I often muse and wonder of what may, If some mortal being dares to walk on you, In naive courage and whim of confidence, In an attempt to understand your lifeless view, O great desert why are u so unforgiving, I asked the barren endlessness in silence, The dust danced in swirl as if a bit amused And the cool breeze blew as if whispering, "O son I am the nature’s last undying hope, I am the proud strong forsaken, So let me tell you here in a thing or two, Of life, survival, discipline and endurance, No mortal may ever find my end without direction, As one gets lost in life’s thirst when without purpose, Do not fear me if u have good sense of navigation, For fools and ignorant beings get lost in life and here, I inspire and challenge you to face your worst fear, When in the years end the sun grows weak, And my form gets cold and the winds strong, Like the heart broken soldier who stands alert, Alas he cannot cry and no cool shade to seek, Cause tear cannot blur the vision as the day is long, The discipline needs if one wishes to win straight, When the sky rains fire in the hot summer noon, As the thirst gets intoxicating and life swoons, The beast of burden walks in careless beauty, Its strides are long with royalty and confidence, It is born to endure and destined to survive, Many wicked mirages that challenges sanity, Many dry oases has it crossed with sensible sense, Many dreams shall be broken in this long drive, But the king walks on with hope in this hot serenity Out there somewhere he then quenches his crazy thirst And rests a while in leisure in that shadow dense, This is son the way to live the life in this divine desert," The old electronic music broke the trance, My steps and tracks washed away by wind, looked up to the sky saw black clouds advance, casting painted shadows, embracing the sand, Life and water will again pour on this dead land, I retraced my steps left the silent desert behind, The lessons learned i hope will be in my mind, Whenever i feel i will come back here to the kind, Lessons of life that cannot be missed by any chance, |
