Topic: Women? | |
---|---|
During that time, women weren't allowed to show that side. Many didn't have the education given to men. If they did, it was limited to certain subjects. Many women writers had male pseudonyms...like the 3 Bronte sisters Absolutely I have been trying to rack my brains this am of a woman write that we didn't know about til around a 100 years later that her father actually published her works under her name. Not enough coffee yet running through my veins lol... Many women were discouraged even to journal their thoughts let a lone poetry or novels.. Most woman from this era wrote novella's Since they had to pay for everything and it was really a man world... |

I would suggest that child birth is the greatest poetry of all.
I'm glad men can't give birth or I'd still be a virgin. |

im backing the original post that women arent profound as men and all the great writers and poets are men kind of stupid... men don't listen to poetry, while women do... so who would be trying to impress who? |

im backing the original post that women arent profound as men and all the great writers and poets are men kind of stupid... men don't listen to poetry, while women do... so who would be trying to impress who? I knew if I waited long enough someone would point out the obvious... Also doesn't it stand to reason that the writer and the listener have to be equally profound. If not then the writer would have no audience and the listener would be utterly bored |
