These are just choices people make fro me I worked for 12 years.
Now its time to work for myself

I enjoy my job working with seniors in a retirement community. Going back to school get degree in study process of elderly. With that being said, work until I can't work anymore.

I'll probably keep doing what I'm doing until I'm 70 or thereabouts.
Then I'll kick back and have a different kinda fun.

...this being very similar to my thoughts...but a lot of elderly people can't....the lady I work with is going on 75...she struggles with everything...she has bad sight, bad hearing...wrecks a lot of people's clothes (clothing alterations)...I have to drop what I am doing constantly to help her...I love my job and I am very good at what I do but her refusals to retire have caused a lot of people to quit coming back...it's sad cause my reputation is affected by her...she swears she will never retire...she stays because she read a letter to dear Abby that said something similar to your comment...and she thinks she would be bored without working...if you can do your job well work as long as you want...but you know when you can't and should bow out gracefully allowing another person that can do the job the opportunity...

I am retired, and no-way would I work again. I cant cuz im collecting SSDI, and other pensions. My Social Security is wonderful, and do not wamt to jeopardize it by goimg back to work. I have plenty to do, and have hobbies. Travel maybe this later part of summer.
