me a idea for a poem


as i write
i am free
as i open my mind
in spirit
for i am strong
no need to cause
any harm
as i seek out
my visions and watch
the darkness that tends
to light so fast as i always
will be strong and watch
and learn from the blood
of the ancestors
from the past to the

be strong and wise
as you are

Wow, I've read this over several times and found meaning, purpose and all around deeper feeling. After a couple of re-reads due to my mind being bogged down this day, it all started to take shape. I do think I've got it now, your flow of course, and, I definitely like where you were going with this. This is a healthy piece! It's deep!
