if and when.. and it's more likely when.. they make robots.. cyborgs... .. and the day comes when they make a... . robot... in perfect human form.. .. and I mean in every way..  .... would you be willing..

I remember a similar Twilight Zone episode. The man who is sentenced to serve his sentence on an isolated planet is given a female robot for company. He is later found innocent. There is only room for him on the space craft for his return, not the robot. He has become emotionally attached to her and cannot bear to leave her. She is crying and pleading with him to take her along. Finally, the pilot intervenes because he can't stand the sad spectacle before him. He shoots the female robot. You see wires and metal where her face used to be. This jolts the man back to cruel reality and he returns without his sweet robot. Based on this scenario, I would never want to get emotionally attached to anything that is not human. It's terrifying and unnatural to me. As tempted as I would be to clone Henry Cavill (Superman), I know it would come back to bite me. So no thanks. I want a flesh and blood red blooded sexy real human male. Yum!!!

I don't believe I can "really" fall in love with someone/thing that is ultimately a slave while having absolutely no free will in thought to understand it's a slave; created and programmed without any choice regarding their feelings or behavior. I can say I love my car, because it makes my life convenient and makes me feel good to drive it...but I don't "really" love it. Other than that, if I could afford it, I'd be the first in line. |

I am thinking along the lines of the movie A.I. (artificial intelligence). Jude Law played a techno-male prostitute. Would I be intimate with such a thing??...YES, on occasion.
Would I "fall in love" with said being??...NO Like others have said, I would want a real person to return that love. True love and every other emotion associated with it are not able to be "created".
