My friend told me the grocery store is a good place to pick up dates. Do you agree? Do you plan on looking your best when you go to the grocery store? Do you practice your pick up lines before you go to the grocery store? Has anyone had any luck?

A woman can find a date anywhere. Really??? Then why are so many here stating that it is hard to find someone? I was wondering the same thing. Do you think it is because we are too busy to notice? I think that would be a whole other topic. I'll just say many people are not sure what they want to themselves or others. people can meet people anywhere and everywhere. my best friend met her husband at the bookstore coffee shop. she was getting a book she'd been waiting for. he was heading to get coffee while his stepmother shopped. I've met guys in the midst of my car breaking down. the off duty tow truck driver offered to jump start my car and invited me out for coffee.

Actually.. yes.. but not by design, meaning I ever went to a grocery store with the intension of picking up a woman.. or trying out some lame line.. but.. I have met women there. Fact is, most of the grocery shopping is done by women. So the place is full of them. And I'll even tell you what department.. the deli dept. My supermarket is always crowded. so you have to take a number and wait your turn. So your just standing there.. with ( more often then not) a bunch of ladies. You make eye contact ( with one you find attractive).. exchange a little smile.. make sure there is no ring on her finger.. if there is not.. then you ask her a question to break the ice.. I have used " so.. do you really think there is a different between Boars Head brand cold cuts and the house brand?".. if that gets a chuckle... the rest is up to you.

The grocery store is a great place. First of all women can look in your cart and tell your a bachelor and second everyone looks like they do around the house, so you can get a look at how people really are when their guard is down.

Apparently you eat food? What a coincidence! I eat food! What are the odds of finding someone I have so much in common with here? Is that how it works? I'm not looking to pick up women when I go grocery shopping. If I'm doing more specialized shopping, maybe. For example, I love firearms, so if I'm going to buy some ammunition and there is a woman checking out the guns, I may strike up a conversation. Or if I'm at the music store to have my guitar restrung and a woman is checking out an instrument, maybe I'll talk to her. But I'm really not that interested in a conversation about a mutual taste for a particular brand of green beans. If I saw you having your guitar restrung, I'd start checking out all the guitars there!
