Our airplane will lift its wings and fly
a steward or stewardess will ask us if we want anything
and soon we will be above and in the clouds
will someone think we are a star going by?
We will set down bravelly in our home state and travel soon to our friends and our home
and everyday will be an awakening of the beauty we never left behind for it was imprinted in the hearts and minds of all who said we touched their lives and of all who have touched us
one day soon
we will be HOME
and one day after that whenever it will be that God calls us ot glory
we will be in a place even better
but for now we will enjoy all the blessings and the people we can love in our lives
and keep every moment sacred and shared with friends
and every morsel of food will taste even better
in the air of our hometown and everything we get for our place and every movie and meal we share or watch toegether will be special
and friends are welcome here
no discouraging words or grey days are welcome
for most days are blue skied and sunny and when we need rain it will come too
and with it
there just might be
rainbows
