Still warm and beating
Blood running down my arm His heart...I ripped it from his chest Watching the beating slow down As his life slips away Howling with desire I feed upon his cold dead heart Filled with maggots Rotten before it left his chest The flies come feast upon his flesh Chuckling to my self I pluck his eyes from his head Rolling them about in my palm Tossing them to the dogs Kicking at his decrepit remains Never will he hurt them again A whisper upon the night air And another and another Voices of the children As they are set free No longer trapped in misery Howling once again I turn and run Lifted off my feet Small gentle hands holding my arms Whispering all the while Carried across the seas To the rising sun Lifted up again Into its light Changing from ravenous beast Becoming human once again |
