“Waiting”


As I sit here and write.
These words here tonight.
And look back over the past.
My life seems to have and overcast.
Seems each time I saw a glimmer of light.
Never very long before again it was night.
At times I don’t understand.
Each time I reach out my hand.
It’s not long before it is slapped down again.
Then I’m left to deal with the hurt and pain.
It seems like I’m a magnet and draw.
Those only here for a bit then soon withdraw.
Off they go with unanswered questions.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
What it is that I’m doing wrong.
Makes me wonder can no one get along.
With me, am I really that hard to get to know?
Or did I pass up the one long time ago.
No longer am I sure.
At times I want to endure.
This hurt and pain.
What is there to gain?
I have not seen it yet.
So why should I even bet.
That it will even happen.
For each time I let my heart open.
I get shoved to the floor.
As I hear the sound of the slamming door.
Once more I’m left with this heartache.
How much more can one partake.
Love just does not seem to take hold.
Is it possible to have a love and together grow old?
Will one ever come my way?
And with me there love will stay.
I sit here waiting for that day.

Differentkindofwench hey if you have some theories about this then I would love to hear them. Just from reading this and what was going through your mind love the ideal that your mind was working the way it was.

karina at one time or the other actaully we all go through this same thing with the same question in hand. But no matter what we shoudl not give up on love for it is out there. Just at times it seems to hide.

wolfchic you could be right about that one. Maybe that is what I could be doing wrong. But one thing for sure I will keep on dreaming of the day that love will come my way.
