It's incredible the different ways, kisses are given in different cultures.To kiss a friend of opposite gender is seen normal in several cultures;but not all cultures.Number of kisses change too. It suppossed to land friendly kisses on the cheeks only;not near the lips. Kissing family members is normal in several cultures;but not all.
Kissing friends of the same gender is cultural and very relative. It's another matter. Thanks for your comments. |

If it's been awhile since I have seen friends I will hug and maybe a peck on the cheek.
If it's someone I see almost everyday then no hug, but a friendly hey! |

Kisses and hugs with my friends, no matter female or male, not to mention my family. As I am originaly from the Southern Europe, warm hellos or goodbyes were always just normal.
