things don't look the same as yesterday the bed beneath the window the quilt mimicking the color of the sky and me words escaping my brain bleeding out my ears trickling from my bowed mouth flowing down my body one final gush I lay, spent drowning beneath the spilled words knowing things don't look the same as yesterday
