Why does a message flash up on my screen but not go in my messages .. And why can U not make contact with certain people ?

If you aren't using a computer,a message notification can mean you have been sent a flirt. People can set filters for age,distance,married,smoking etc, if your profile doesn't tally with what they want,you can't message them.
