I am of the opinion that joint families disappeared and the elders are forced to live alone and join old age homes. The purpose of marriage, bringing up children to support us in old age, have become useless. I heard that some youngsters are not marrying but saving their money in retirement funds for old age. In this context, I JUST WISH TO KNOW HOW THE NATURAL NECESSITY OF SEX IS FULFILLED. ALSO THE MINDSETS OF LADIES UNDERGONE A SEA CHANGE, IN THE ABSENCE OF MARRIAGE. I AM UNABLE TO THINK, HOW THE WORLD IS SHAPING IN FUTURE. PLEASE THROW SOME LIGHT ON THIS TOPIC. ALL THE BEST TO ALL OUR MEMBERS. THANKS

The whole world going done the toilet fast don't worry about it more people are living together not getting married or divorce with families broken up with more then one father it's a total mess.
Never bothered to get married or have kids myself what's the point hope to die fast and not drag on till I can't look after myself then put into a horrible home drugged an abused by nurses.

Here in America where we have allocate our families to 'daycare' for our babies during the start of their lives to LTC {nursing homes} for the end of their life...it's become the institutional process for a life span! Not as our pioneer families defined it due to lack of mobility and necessity; where the family built a small home and mom & pop stay within that nuclear family unit {much like it still is to this day in Japanese culture because of limited space} but as our culture grew and our space acquired more per square footage per home...well mom & dad and the urban sprawl meant that the 'FOLKS' weren't going to be part of that FAMILY UNIT any longer! And those kids just kept moving further away with ever looking back!

I was raised with 5 other siblings and when it came time for my remaining parent care...there wasn't any one of those other living siblings wanting to SHARE THE CARE or the solution; I took it on as I'd promised my parents back in high school. Whew...not for the faint of heart my any means and it is very - very expensive trying to keep elderly parents at home when the 'SYSTEM' will pay for care in LTC settings better than they do at the house!!!

I don't have all the answers but I know my one and only son won't be planning on my care needs for me; NOPE - No way...he's - his fathers son and can't be bothered nor concerned...I'll be on my own for my arrangements and plans! AND WE ADULTS NEED TO BE PROACTIVE AND BE MAKING PLANS...NOW - WHILE WE ARE MENTALLY ABLE TOO. Do Not Leave Your Medical Directive up to others to decide for you --- IT WILL BE TOO LATE!
