no they aren't " not important at all"
the biggest problem with this as ageneral rule is that beauty is in the eye of the beholder so it's not easily quantifyable personally short of a few absolute turn offs, it's really more about how you carry or project your self, that attracts me |

There has to be an initial attraction and for each of us that could be something different.........for me I look at his eyes and his smile.....his eyes because they reflect his soul and his smile, whether it's genuine or forced.....then after that I cross my fingers and hope he has a great personality and a sense of humour.

Definitely physical attraction is what first makes you think, "hmmmmm..... I like him/her," but that's not what will keep you together. If that's all you have, you have nothing. If you don't have that at all, it's difficult. Fortunately, at least with me, women can earn "pretty points," which basically means that she does things to make herself more attractive, such as genuinely laughing at a bad joke I just told, or showing off her intelligence in a conversation, or asking how my day was. It's not like she gets 10 points for this or 20 for that. It's more that she just becomes more attractive because she does those little things. Personality, of course, is the most important, but the more I like her personality, the prettier she looks to me.

So assume I'm not physically attracted at the beginning. By end, I would find a reason to be physically attracted. If that makes sense at all. |
