lol the new rage,,, defining rudeness as 'honesty' there is a difference, the line is not that thin, many just choose to pretend it is

lol,,there are many who believe their brand of 'honesty' proves how smart and down to earth they are another phrase I cringe at 'keeping it real',, often used to explain being without manners ...

Is there a fine line between being honest and being a dic? At times the approach and tack of the statement makes a difference, and how one receives the message. Yes and No! Depends on the subject and how people feel about the subject matter. Would one prefer honesty over partial truth?

Depends on the subject and how people feel about the subject matter. Would one prefer honesty over partial truth? I would prefer honesty over partial truth and even if it is hurtful. I will work though the pain but be a better person for accepting and hearing the truth. I don't like people who sugar coat things. I have always been honest in a relationship and yep they don't last but I sleep better at night knowing I didn't lie to the person.

The line between just being honest and being a dic is wide and very well defined. Some people just choose to ignore it.

it's all in the eye's of the beholder. what some see as a dic, others will find as friendly and sweet.
