for it is only human's blindly believing that god shall save them, resuce their loved one's, fix their problem's, that keep's human repeating the same self actions, expecting a different result.

For believing in a god or a devil, besides such being only people them selves, is the first step to unsanity.

David....that is your belief! But we all have our own experiences with the divine that no words can explain, and unless you have experienced it yourself and being touched by it, no one can force you into it. You have to be open to it, whether it is Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Taoism or other faiths.

God works in his own way, and there are many ways about it. No fixed way... it differs from individual to individual. And from time to time.... what applies then, may not apply now and in the future.

people that expect god to change ANYTHING in life have forfeited their own brains ability to change anything.

i hope you sea that those that believe in god blame "god" for their own shortcomings, so never change to anything better.

Everyone has a belief. Even Atheistism is a belief or if you chose not to believe. A belief and being religious is different, are they not?

if it was recognized as actual fact, it would not be called belief.

Jiminny...this topic could turn into point counterpoint in no time...lol...a shotgun loaded with one shell called opinion..hmmmm...I like to believe in one God...but because my search for him consisted of hundreds of opinions I came to my own conclusion...but my faith has no religion... because my God would be thought of as light and good he could not exist without dark and evil...and if my God is all forgiving he would inevitably forgive his nemesis in the end...and that could complicate a lot of things...lol...but as it is this is just my opinion...my faith is what it is and won't be changed or disputed as it is what it is...lol..big hugs and warm wishes to all and may this New Year bring hundreds of happy thoughts and beautiful dreams to everyone... xo !!!

That is your belief...... my belief is if God did not help make certain things happen, no matter how I got around to doing it, it would never happen. I can't make certain things happen...... no matter what. If God meant it to happen....he will let it happen. I can only pray that he allows it to happen.

if i can NOT drop a glass and break it, than it is not a belief, but a fact, once that fact has become observed and recognized as factuality, by me, and then observed as fact by those around me.

So are you saying were to consider you a God?

What if the glass was metal, or wood; did you believe you still dropped it?

the fact that a person calls anything "belief", proves they simply chose to believe in what they "imagined" as could be true.

have some more opium and drinks, and believe someone will change all that exist besides one self, and nothing will ever change, because one self never did anything different to change it.
