Thank you JP for starting this thread!  The words of encouragement, the words of kindness and the words of support from all of you have touched me deeply. For all of you to express your sympathies at this very difficult time for me is so incredible and so considerate, even though I have never met any of you! I am overwhelmed with emotions, I can't stop crying. My dad was a great man, he loved to laugh, he loved making others laugh and he always wore a smile. He always went out of his way to help someone and he worked hard to support his family. It was so hard watching him suffer in the last couple of months, he was a proud man and hated asking for help, but he lost the battle and is now with his mom and dad and is no longer in any pain, we (his family) are the ones left in pain. I love you daddy

. he has just moved on.... to that place that we all go eventually... it is not goodbye.. it is merely.. I will see you later.. .. those who go before us.. light the way..... prepare the table... start the fire in the fireplace.. to warm the house...
they gather around the table singing and laughing... patiently waiting our arrival.... it is not goodbye.. it is just till we meet again... at the table..

If one has difficulty with the the cycle of life, such as myself and needs something to believe in then believe in this^^^awesome philosophy written by your fellow Edmontonian, I myself hanging around oil town for a short Christmas break. .......this is the most difficult thing I have ever had to deal with, my dad was such a vibrant, upbeat, witty man and to have that gone now is such a huge shock. Thank you.....thank you....thank you to each and every one of you!

I'm so sorry about all that has happened.....being I am going through the same thing all I can do is pray..... Dr reports not good I might be next......... God bless you Pinky.....stay strong..... Dr doesn't want me working out hard so ok ill just drive iron longer and lighter..... Its the only way I get my Zen oh and in here too......
