Oh baby if you only knew How you are among those few That impulse every string to my heart Am I too straight forward? I think of Paris by night And know it’ll be right My senses fly like wild birds You are a puppeteer of words Awaking a marionette to dance and to pirouette twirling my mind around How can I not be astound ? I know you like to be in charge And may I say at large… From being a distraction Now my mine attraction There might be some potential If we keep in sight the essential That spark, that fire that you lit Oh please, please do not quit Maintain it warm and fizzling And when the stars are twinkling I’ll wish for our Paris by night Cause we both know it will be right Truth is; I want so much more A lot of things I’m hoping for I know I will blossom like a flower When we will kiss under the Eiffel Tower As time passes please keep in sight Our personal Paris by night ![]() Nice. Even better if a trip involves the Arc De Triomphe as well, who doesn't love a day at the races Brilliant, next time I will be in Paris I will explore the city more with passion |

Paris would be great if the food wasn't made so tasty because everything is actually rotten, the people actually used the perfumes they make instead of just selling it, wine is made from rotten grapes and that's no secret, the language spoken are sounds people make while on the toilet, off the beaten path it smells like every other major city in the world (urine, feces, filth,..), never met a polite person there unless they were to receive money for what little service they give. Shall I speak more truth and go on? I've been there on a shoestring budget and on a stack of cash. You get what you pay for there, like all cities. Montreal, the sister city of Paris in North America is exactly the same only much colder during the winter. Save your money and test if you'd like the atmosphere their first. Bring lots of cash if you are looking for romance. Try Italian countryside if you want romance or even Greece. They appreciate tourist a lot more.

You can always look at a glass half full or empty...that's all a question of perspective ! But as I said before I agree...Paris CAN be a pain in the *** and people aren't all that friendly....if you don't know anyone...or the right places to go to... ![]() ![]() |

Paris is about freedom - Love is about freedom
I've been very moved by the Paris service today and F. Holland He vowed that France would respond with more music, concerts and sporting events, after some of the attacks targeted a concert venue and a stadium. The song by Belgium composer & singer Jacques Brel - Quand on a que l'Amour sung by Camelia Jordana,Nolwenn Leroy,Yael Naim was a Parisian response : http://youtu.be/gtMbwXCJPOk here the translation: When all we have is love To share On the day of the great journey That is our great love When we have only love, My love, you and me, So that each hour and each day Burst with joy. When all we have is love To live our promises With no other resource Than always keep believing When all we have is love To furnish with wonders And cover with sunlight The suburbs' ugliness When all we have is love As a single reason As a single song And single relief When all we have is love To provide, in the morning, The poor and the highwayman With velvet coats When all we have is love To offer as a prayer To the earth's pains, As a simple troubadour When all we have is love To offer to those Whose sole struggle Is to look for daylight When all we have is love To show the way And change the course of fate At every crossroad When all we have is love To talk to guns And just a song To convince a drum So, having nothing at all But the strength to love, We will have in our hands, My friend, the whole world |
