Obama stinks as a leader and lacks integrity. You don't have to be a racist to figger that one out! He does stink as a leader and you're right Joe, you don't have to be a racist to figure that out...But there are plenty of people who believe he stinks as a leader because he is black...How come this is so hard to admit?...Racism is alive and well...You don't have to be a racist to figure that out either... I agree that some people are racist from both (all actually) races. However, if Obama proves to be a bad leader by any objective standard, the ones who think he is a bad leader because he is half black don't matter. The truth that Obama is a bad leader stands alone. As the OP points out, Obama has no experience in various areas so he is forced to rely on others for experience and knowledge. His leadership ability is judged by his ability to find and select those around him who can fill the void, not play yes-man and/or parrot his world view. Some news this past week was of the increasing reports by the top brass of our military that Obama's staff is cherry picking targets and operations against ISIL instead to listening to the military. This is a classic mistake made famous by the Vietnam War. There was another news report from the White House that the US intends to leave air cover operations intact after we withdraw our troops from Afghanistan. Anyone with any military knowledge knows how stupid it is to telegraph to the enemy what, when, and how our forces will be deployed so they can effectively enact countermeasures. Obama is a master of telling the enemy exactly what we plan to do ... for what he thinks will get a little political mileage. http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2012/08/obamas_strange_dependence_on_valerie_jarrett.html Jarrett is "Obama's Evil Genie With the Light-brown Hair"! |

Lol does it matter if he's half black. Fact is he is not white and I am NOT defending him I don't even like the guy and I feel they should replace him....I am merely stating facts here...it all comes down to race....you might not see it that way but who wants a non white person to be leading a nation dominated by mostly white? Many people in the U.S don't and these are facts No, you are not stating facts. Instead, you are stating your beliefs. its as much a fact as stating some people are sick he is correct, MANY don't what America lead by a black man,, I have spoken to some of them as well , via internet, who assumed they were speaking to someone who was not black,,, |

These attacks on Obama are purely caused by 1 main issue.....and the root of that is racism....coz he's a black prez.... So then using your analogy would you say the record number of African-Americans who voted for Obama did so based solely because of his race are racist? and is there counter resource regarding how many voted McCain because he wasn't the black man running? since he is the first black man to win, I guess any number would be a record though,, wouldn't it? lol |

I didn't write this, but it is thought provoking. Barack Obama: ... Never served in the military. Not even R.O.T.C. Why is he our Commander-in-Chief? Neither did John Adams (Federalist), Thomas Jefferson (Democratic-Republican), John Quincy Adams (National Republican), Martin Van Buren (D), Millard Fillmore (Whig), Grover Cleveland (R), William Howard Taft (R), Woodrow Wilson (D), Warren G. Harding (R), Calvin Coolidge (R), Herbert Hoover (R), Franklin D. Roosevelt (D), and William Clinton (D). http://www.nytimes.com/1993/01/03/us/hail-to-chiefs-without-military-pasts.html ... Never owned, ran or even managed a business, not even a hotdog stand. Why is he now 'CEO' of the greatest nation on earth? Only 8 presidents have run their own business: Lincoln (R), Harding (R), FDR (D), Truman (D), Carter (D), George H.W. Bush (R), George W. Bush (R), and Hoover (R). http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/19/presidents-entrepreneurs_n_1684521.html ... Never balanced a budget or managed a payroll. Why is he in charge of the largest economy in the world? No accountant/CPA has ever been elected to the office of POTUS. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Presidents_of_the_United_States_by_occupation ... Never was a doctor, a nurse or ever worked in any health care profession. Why is he being trusted to completely take over America's health care system? No doctor, nurse, nor health care administrator has ever been elected to the office of POTUS. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Presidents_of_the_United_States_by_occupation ... Never was Mayor of a city, or Governor of a state, in fact, he has no executive experience whatsoever. Why is he in charge of the executive branch of the United States government? Of our 44 POTUSs, 18 have served as U.S. Representatives, 17 as Governors, 16 as U.S. Senators, 14 as VPs, 8 as Cabinet Secretaries, and 6 as Secretaries of State. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Presidents_of_the_United_States,_sortable_by_previous_experience ... Is a failed, corrupt 'resign or be disbarred' lawyer. Why is he trusted to appoint our, Secretary of State, Supreme Court justices and Attorney General? This is an erroneous statement. President Obama has "voluntarily resigned" his law license because in his current position as POTUS, he is not an actively-employed attorney. http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/lawlicenses.asp ... Never was a success in any area of his life except campaigning for office (and two 'autobiographies' written before he had ever accomplished anything.) Why Was He EVER Elected President of the United States of America? Again, erroneous information that President Obama never "was a success in any area of his life"; to boot, it's a subjective statement, at best. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Presidents_of_the_United_States_by_occupation You're welcome. It was my pleasure to do your research FOR you, thus saving yourself the time and trouble to base your opinions on legitimate and factual information, rather than knee-jerking, emotional reactionism. oh wow,, just took me back to the days of paralegal training,,,,lol |

Ok guys, let me clear this up. First I apologize for generalizing that all Obama opponents are racist. I never meant that. But I did mean, and I still stand by this, that a significant group that criticizes him, especially some of the top politicians, are less than honest when they deny this being at least in part about his race or ethnicity. Remember the birthers? Even after they were shown legal birth documents they refused to believe it. Yeah, it is interesting how, during the 2008 Democratic Party primaries, some of Hillary Clinton's Democrat supporters started spreading the false rumor that Mr. Obama was born in Kenya, along with the false rumor that he is a Muslim. and this was part of why she lost my vote I was truly torn between the two of them, until her dirty politics really disappointed me,,, I expected more from her,, maybe she will have learned and improved in 2016 |

So then using your analogy would you say the record number of African-Americans who voted for Obama did so based solely because of his race are racist? Id say there is NO DOUBT that there were blacks who voted for him because they wanted a black man as president. an option they never really had before just as there is NO DOUBT there were whites who didn't vote for him because they didn't want a black man,,,,or because they wanted a white man,, not something they ever had to really think about before , but just took for granted,,, RACISM is real,, individually against all races, systemically against minorities,,, ,,, but back to the statements of the op which I feel mrl very Thoroughly addressed,,,, |

Never was a success in any area of his life except campaigning for office (and two 'autobiographies' written before he had ever accomplished anything.) Why Was He EVER Elected President of the United States of America? Answer, quite simple, he is but a reflection of the society that he represents, which is necessarily a reflection of society as a whole. Just look at the mid-terms, I believe the voter turnout, depending on the source, was less than 36%. One source even put New York at 22%. And why are we in this position, again quite simple, we have deviated from the original trust that was established by the founders, the constitution. The founders were very wary of tyranny, after all they have just fought for their freedom from tyranny. Most were also very astute scholars and had studied history. As a result they established this trust with more than a few checks and balances that have since been usurped. First and foremost was their fear of a chief executive, hence the exclusion in the Articles of Confederation. As a result, the president was never supposed to be elected by the public in a popular election. They figured that the most important position in this fledgling country should be handled by a board, the electoral college, qualified to nominate, interview, and by majority vote select not only the president but a vice president. And this had nothing to do with "parties" nor huge campaign war chests. And how right were they? Well let's look at a long string of supposed executives and you will have the answer, Odumbo being the latest in a long line of failures. |

Why Was He EVER Elected President of the United States of America?
Because the Republican Party didn't offer a better alternative. Wow, thought provoking. |

I personally think that article is not thought provoking but rather intended to polarize political views. Obama joins 12 other presidents who never served in the military, including some of our founding fathers. Same with the rest. Those are qualifications that various of our presidents lacked or lack. And most of them did ok. In fact, I believe Nixon would fill most of those qualifications, and he was a disgrace as a president. Sorry, but it's the truth. So what is your point? That Odumbo is not a total failure because he joins such a long list of failures? But one thing he gets to claim, he is a bigger loser than that long list of losers before him. |

These attacks on Obama are purely caused by 1 main issue.....and the root of that is racism....coz he's a black prez.... You're right about one main issue and it have noting to do with racism as that is just the excuse of the main causation, the total idiots that not just voted for him but will defend to the bitter end, and the end will be bitter. |

These attacks on Obama are purely caused by 1 main issue.....and the root of that is racism....coz he's a black prez.... Okay so some of our former presidents weren't some of those things, but not all wrapped into one. Lol does it matter if he's half black. Fact is he is not white and I am NOT defending him I don't even like the guy and I feel they should replace him....I am merely stating facts here...it all comes down to race....you might not see it that way but who wants a non white person to be leading a nation dominated by mostly white? Many people in the U.S don't and these are facts Facts, please if there are facts stated, please point them out except for the obvious one that has nothing to do with the subject of the OP. |

This is not my opinion but opinions of majority of Americans I've spoken to and I am NOT American ......and you have no idea about my beliefs so shut the **** up about my so called beliefs Really, what bull and your beliefs are on full display for all to read, hence see. I have always thought it rather interesting to follow the involuntary movements of fear in clever people. Fools coarsely display their cowardice in all its nakedness, but the others are able to cover it with a veil so delicate, so daintily woven with small plausible lies, that there is some pleasure to be found in contemplating this ingenious work of the human intelligence. ― Alexis de Tocqueville |

"As "democracy" is perfected, the office of President represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be occupied by a downright fool and complete narcissistic moron."
--- H.L. Mencken, The Baltimore Evening Sun, July 26, 1920 |

As the OP points out, Obama has no experience in various areas so he is forced to rely on others for experience and knowledge. His leadership ability is judged by his ability to find and select those around him who can fill the void, not play yes-man and/or parrot his world view. I find this remark to be hilarious. A good executive surrounds himself with people that know more about a subject matter than himself, as he is the executive not the petty detail collector. But Odumbo can't handle that. He cannot have anyone around him that has a light brighter than his, even if only in an advisory capacity, outside deniable plausibility, that is. So what we have is all close to the crown are but a puppet of the head puppet. And of course it's pure racism that we just can't accept all at face value. |

there is so much in that Mencken quote that inspires thought
1st. that though we espouse openly to prefer 'experience' in any number of areas,, we also espouse just as often to believe that the 'common' person should be elected instead, because those who have attained any power/experience are by nature more corrupt,,, 2nd , that although fools are hard to suffer, fools who believe themselves superiors are even more difficult so is 'plain' the standard by which everything should be measured as appropriate,,,for representing the 'plain' folks,,, or is excellence in all things the preferred leadership? |

Truth vs Perception Truth is objective, meaning that it is not based on perceptions of human beings (which is capable of wavering). Truth is simply that which is. It is that which has occurred in the past and that which is occurring in the present, that which is. No such thing as truth in the future. Perception is not reality, but our work is to align the two, truth and perception. "I've come to realize that the biggest problem anywhere in the world is that people's perceptions of reality are compulsively filtered through the screening mesh of what they want, and do not want, to be true." - Travis Walton Another way of saying this would be to say that the presence of truth and morality in the lives of the people of any given society is inversely proportional to the presence of tyranny and slavery in that society. True freedom can never exist in a society that embraces "Moral Relativism" (the idea that there is no inherent and objective difference between right and wrong, so humanity may arbitrarily "create" or "decide" right and wrong for themselves). |

and is there counter resource regarding how many voted McCain because he wasn't the black man running? since he is the first black man to win, I guess any number would be a record though,, wouldn't it? lol No, it was for the most part purely racist. Blacks voting for Odumbo because he was black and whites voting for Odumbo because he was black. After all he presented no real attributes. And then there are the Repugnacants that will only vote Repugnacants and Dumbocants that will only vote Dumbocants, some even being repulsed they were voting for a black person but not so repulsed as to vote Repugnacant. But then: "It is indeed difficult to imagine how men who have entirely renounced the habit of managing their own affairs could be successful in choosing those who ought to lead them. It is impossible to believe that a liberal, energetic, and wise government can ever emerge from the ballots of a nation of servants." - Alexis de Tocqueville |
