Hey People,

I love the posts U folks bring-up & the reply that follows.

I'm a 34 year old married man, have a Son who is 10 months old. I look good, very homely, Family is everything to me.

When I step-out of home, there are several people at workplace who just wants to catch Ur attention, talk to U & be around with U. But, when I'm at home, My spouse is very nagging. She definitely has narcissist traits. She doesn't understand when I attempt to make her understand of her nagging behavior.

It really hurts, honestly. All I do is... Home >Work >Home. What advise do U have for me?

you say:
'there are people who just wants to catch Ur attention, talk to U & be around with U'.

which people? people of the opposite gender?
in what way do they want your attention? in what way do they try to talk to you?
what do you do to redirect things to be kept at a professional level?

does your wife work outside of the home? if so what makes you think you have more entitlement than her?

you mention that you have a ten month old child?
is your wife nagging you or asking you for help. there is a huge difference.

imo, a relationship is supposed to be a partnership where both parties are equal in the responsibility of the family, especially in meeting the needs of taking care of an infant.

I would say the best solution is communication. choose a time when you are both not stressed. take the time to really listen and find out what her needs are and where are some points in which you need to compromise.

The only one who can change a narcissist is the who who is one. No one else can do it and it would take a lot of work on their part to change their mental and emotional self!! Their ego needs to be completely overhauled !!

I think you need to stop thinking of it as nagging and really listen to her. Woman are straight forward creatures too. And we gain no pleasure in nagging for the sake of it. Ask her what she actually wants from you and just do it. Its not too hard . Then, she wont have anything to 'nag' about.
