The muppets oringinated in the UK but Disney bought them. They did not originate in the UK. Jim Henson created them in the 1950's, while in high school he started creating puppets for a Saturday morning TV show, and later created his own puppet show Sam and Friends while in college, the show featured the origin of Kermit. He founded what we now know as Jim Henson Co. in 1958.

Regarding reality its a shame we have a government that has to pass laws to control our behavior. Police to protect us from each other. Even monitors to control our conversations Why? Too many people can not approach a subject without using bully tactics. Mental abuse. Their own morality. We are not all beautiful we are not all young we are not the same color we are not the same sex. Often who we are does not match what we look like. Its a shame we can not accept the enormous variety among us.

Once my kid turned 5, I stopped watching Sesame Street and going to the Muppet movies. Since the audience was filled with mostly 5-year-olds, I had no reason TO go, anymore.
